2010 all wrapped up !

Merry Xmas from Team HDT
Well as the Festive Season is well and truly upon us, we have been looking back at 2010 and the many adventures on the ‘Champion Express’ with both HDT and Champions Brock Experience. The year that was went a little like this;
- Top Gear Live, Acer Arena Sydney - Transport Four HDT Retro road cars for display along with 3 Bathurst winning MHDT Commodores from CBE in Yeppoon
- Targa Tasmania – Transport Brocky’s 05 Targa Monaro to Symmons Plains for Sponsors Hot Laps Days, support crew for two car HDT Targa Team from Launceston to Hobart and then transport back to Yeppoon
- Goodwood Festival of Speed, UK – transport 82/83 Bathurst winning 05 MHDT Commodore to UK. Compete for 3 days, crash on the first day, work most of the night to repair car. Compete for next two days and take home the coveted ‘Spirit of Goodwood’ Award – the only other Australian winner was PB!
- Over to WA for Targa West – two car HDT Team compete
- Back to Australia for Bathurst 1000 – unveil 30th Anniversary VC/VE Retro series with Bathurst legend, Jim Richards.
- From Bathurst off to Albury/Wodonga for HDT’s on the Border, transport four cars for display
- Back to Sydney and repack transporter for Gold Coast 600 event – unveil HDT Improved new vehicle at GC600
- Back in the truck and head to Sydney for the Telstra 500 and the end of the season.
And Champions Brock Experience has been just as busy this year:
- Four sold out Up Close and Personal Tours
- Big Boys Toys Event
- First ever Ladies Event – Frocks & Fast Cars
- Hosted Motormania Awards Dinner
- Hosted three TV shows including V8 Extra with Neil Crompton, Mark Larkham and John Harvey
- and enjoyed visits from Dick & Jill Johnson, Kevin Bartlett & Tony D’Alberto
- We also added the Final Chapter to the collection with the installation of the Daytona Coupe.
So as you can see we packed a bit into 2010 and are looking forward to more fun for 2011. Including continuing to build the No.1 Custom-built Motor vehicle brand in the country. We have some awesome new products for 2011 and the Experience will continue to allow Peter Brocks’ many many fans to enjoy a piece of his history. We thank you all for your support and hope to see you all along the way in the adventures of 2011.
